KEN FASANARO Title: Director & Co-Founder Ken is the Co-founder and Director of Carolina Select Lacrosse and has over 28 years of lacrosse playing and coaching experience. He played high school at national powerhouse and NY State Champion Ward Melville HS in Long Island NY, finishing his HS career with a record of 71-1. He went on to play attack for Duke University leading them to multiple NCAA Division 1 playoff appearances. After graduation in 1994, Ken played professionally for the Charlotte Cobras of the Major Indoor Lacrosse League. Ken has earned All-American honors, a selection to the NY Empire State Games Team, ACC Honor Roll and selection to both HS and NCAA North-South All-Star Teams. Ken has coached lacrosse at all levels with a focus on Youth and Middle School. Coach Fasanaro’s past experience also includes 5 years coaching at Holy Trinity MS in Charlotte NC, Founder of C-LAX (Charlotte-Area Lacrosse League) and a Member of the US Lacrosse NC Board of Directors. Ken is a Captain with the Charlotte Fire Department, a NC EMT and a volunteer firefighter with the Wesley Chapel VFD. He lives in Weddington, NC with his wife, 3 sons and a daughter.

PAT HUTTON Title: Boys Coach Pat has over 18 years lacrosse playing and coaching experience. He played his high school lacrosse at Southington High School in Connecticut where he was picked for the CT Super Juniors and earned all conference honors his senior year. Pat went on after high school to play lacrosse at DIII Mitchell College where he was the starting goaltender for 4 years and team captain for 3 years. After college he spent the next 2 years helping start the lacrosse program at Waterford High in CT where he was the head JV coach. Pat then went back to his hometown where he spent 2 years as the head coach for the Southington Blue Knights freshmen team. Pat currently lives in Charlotte and currently coaches at Nationsford HS (Fort Mill SC). He is the former head coach for the Cuthbertson Cavalier JV team. |

MATT KOPLEY Title: Boys Coach Matt has over 25 years of lacrosse playing and coaching experience. He grew up in Syracuse, NY and played for Skaneateles HS where he played varsity for 3 years (1992-1994). He was the captain his senior year and led his team to the NYS Section 3 (Class C) championship and into states. He was selected to be on the NYS Section 3 All Star team his junior and senior year. Matt continued his lacrosse career at Rutgers University in New Jersey (1994-1998). He was a 4 year starter at Rutgers and was a captain his senior year. He was selected as a Division 1 USILA All-American in 1998 as a Midfielder. He was also selected to play in the USILA North-South All Star game in 1998. He moved to North Carolina in 2006 and lives in Waxhaw with his wife and 2 children. |

MATT GATES Title: Boys Coach Matt has 15 years of lacrosse playing and coaching experience. Matt was instrumental in starting the lacrosse program at his High School... North Canton Hoover HS. In only their second year, they won the DIII title in the state of Ohio and Matt was awarded Game MVP. Matt was selected as All-State and named Warrior Player of the Year for the state of Ohio. After high school Matt played lacrosse at Ohio University, during his years there he led the Bobcats to one finals game and two final four appearances. Matt has created summer camps in his hometown of North Canton, Ohio to further the growth of lacrosse in the elementary and middle schools. Matt still plays lacrosse with SCOG and has coached at Weddington HS and currently coaches at Charlotte Christian HS (Charlotte NC). |

DICK SIPPERLY Title: Boys Coach During the past 32 years Coach Sipperly has coached youth, middle school, high school, Division I and III collegiate and club lacrosse. Coach Sipperly graduated from Cortland College in 1978. For the past 7 years, Dick has been the head lacrosse coach at the Charlotte Latin School where he has led the program to two NC State Championships. He was named 2005 NCISAA Coach of the Year and CLB Coach of the Year. Coach Sipperly played high school, collegiate and club lacrosse in New York. His college coaching included Springfield College, University of Vermont and Vassar College. In 2002 he was selected as coach of the North/South Collegiate All Star game. Prior to joining CLS he spent a year in Seattle coaching the Mercer Island HS team. MI won the 2004 State Championship. Coach Sipperly lives in Charlotte with his wife Sarah and son Eric who played on the 2010 CSL HS Green Team. His older son Tayler (CLS ’09) attends the University of Vermont. |

BRIAN HOLLAND Title: Boys Coach Brian has over 25 years of lacrosse playing, coaching and officiating experience. He played attack at national powerhouse and current NY State Champion West Islip HS in Long Island NY. Brian was a two year starter, team captain an all conference selection in 1989. He went on to play midfield for Hofstra University under coach John Danowski. At Hofstra, Brian was a three year starter and was voted team captain in 1995. Brian was named an alternate in the 1995 NCAA North-South Senior All-Star game and also received All Conference Honors in 1995. Brian is a licensed NC Lacrosse Official and has officiated 3 seasons at the Varsity High School level in Charlotte. Brian is currently the head coach of Nationsford HS (Fort Mill SC). Prior to moving to Charlotte he officiated on Long Island in New York. Brian is the President/CEO of his own Employee Benefits Brokerage firm in Ballantyne and has lived in Charlotte for 5 years with his wife and two children. |

DIANE LANCASTER Title: Girls Coach Diane Lancaster grew up in the Philadelphia PA area where she started playing girls lacrosse in Jr. High. She went on to play at James Madison University and graduated with a B.S. in Dietetics. She holds a Masters degree in nutrition and exercise physiology and is certified by the American College of Sports Medicine as a fitness instructor and personal trainer. Coach Lancaster has been instrumental in helping CSL grow our girls program and has acted as Girls Travel Director. Diane began coaching at WCWAA rec program and now coaches for Marvin Ridge HS and CSL Select. Her passion is to give girls in this area the same opportunities to grow as a player and a person as she had as a young woman. Diane lives in Marvin with her husband and four children. |

PETE HARLICK Title: Sticks n Stones, Girls Coach Pete Harlick played defense for Saint Mary's High School in Manhasset, NY as well collegiate lacrosse at Division III SUNY Oneonta in upstate NY. He has two daughters that play for CSL and has coached girls for the last 4 years. Peter is also a volunteer firefighter for Wesley Chapel VFD and lives in Waxhaw with his wife and two daughters. |

MEREDITH BUSKARD Title: Girls Coach Meredith Buskard played womens lacrosse at Div. III Lynchburg College. She majored as an athletic trainer and has received Academic All American awards all three years. She graduated from Providence High School in 2008 and participated in the Club Women’s Lacrosse team all four years. She was MVP 2008, Defender of the Year 2007 and 2008, All Conference 2007 and 2008, Second Team All State 2008, and a captain for two years. IN addition to coaching teh CSL Girls travel teams in 2010 & 11, Meredith has coached with Zenith Lacrosse and Jim Fritz Lacrosse programs. |

SCOTT MAYER Title: Girls Coach, Boys Coach Scott has been playing and coaching lacrosse for the last 8 years. He started playing at age 38 with and continues to play today. He has coached both boys and girls youth lacrosse in the CSL program for the last 3 years. He has been involved in coaching youth athletics for the last 7 years in the south Charlotte area. Scott is currently a member of the South Charlotte Old Guys Lacrosse Club (SCOG) and he lives in Waxhaw, NC with his wife, son and two daughters.

KELSEY ROEPE Title: Girls Coach
Kelsey recently graduated from NC State University with a baccalaureate degree in Bioarchaeology with a minor in Forensic Science. She was instrumental in bringing lacrosse to Weddington High School and played on the Varsity team all four years. She continued to play on the club team at NC State. She was the top scorer at Weddington her senior year of high school with 45 goals and 7 assists. She is a two-time player in the Queen City Lax Starz game, and was voted All-Conference in 2008. She also participated in the North Carolina East West All-Star game and the North Carolina State Games. |

GREGG FASANARO Title: Boys Coach Gregg has over 25 years of playing and coaching experience. He was the leading Scorer and Offensive MVP for National Powerhouse Ward Melville HS that won the Long Island Championship his senior year. He went on to play Attack/Midfield for Roanoke College, leading them to multiple NCAA playoff appearances. As a Four year starter Gregg was 3x All-Conference, 3x College Lacrosse USA’s All-America Pick, and a USILA All-Star selection. Gregg has coached Lacrosse at all levels including youth, middle, and high school. Gregg currently resides in Charlotte, NC. |

SHANNON HITESHEW Title: Sticks n Stones
Shannon has over 30 years of lacrosse playing and coaching experience. He played 4 years of college lacrosse including Final Four appearances at Essex and Catonsville Community Colleges while finishing his college career as an All –conference midfielder at Limestone College. Originally from Maryland, Shannon played his early lacrosse through Loch Raven Lacrosse Club, Cobra and Hero’s Lacrosse. He played High School lacrosse at Oakland Mills (MD) where he was All County, Metro and State while representing the South All Stars in the Annual North-South All Star Game in 1993. Shannon currently resides in Matthews, NC with his wife Heather and four kids. Two of his girls are members of the Sticks-n-Stones program. |

REBECCA KOCH Title: Sticks n Stones, Girls Coach
Rebecca grew up in Connecticut and attended Eastern Connecticut State University where she was captain of the women’s lacrosse team. Currently, she is a Union County Public School teacher. She is married and has two children. Her son plays on CSL’s U11 team and her daughter plays for Sticks-n-Stones. This is her second year coaching with CSL. |

KEN LOEBER Title: Boys Coach Ken Loeber played football and lacrosse at Johns Hopkins University and has played and coached lacrosse for over 30 years. He is still active coaching at Providence Day School (Charlotte NC) and playing with SCOG and at the Grandmasters level in tournament around the country. Ken is Executive Managing Director with CB Richard Ellis, has global responsibility for client solutioning and business development for their Global Corporate Services (GCS) customers. In this role, he is responsible for the development of value producing solutions for existing and prospective customers. He also leads the GCS strategy group and co-leads their Americas Advisory Board. Mr. Loeber was previously the Executive Managing Director with Global responsibility for the delivery of Project Management services to customers. He began his career with Trammell Crow Company in 1989 as a Development Manager in Southern California working with a client, Baxter Healthcare Corporation. The success of that engagement led to Trammell Crow Company’s and the industry’s first outsourcing customer relationship. During his tenure with Trammell Crow Company/CB Richard Ellis he has developed over 24 million square feet of office, industrial and retail space. |

KRISTIE RADFORD Title: Sticks n Stones, Girls Coach Kristie played girls lacrosse for Ward Melville H.S. in Setauket, NY. She went on to play Division III lacrosse for Mary Washington College (now The University of Mary Washington) and graduated in 1997 with a teaching certification and degree in Sociology. She is a former Union County Public Schools Teacher and is a stay at home mother of three. She has coached Sticks and Stones since 2010 and has also helped out with the Girl’s youth, middle and high school teams. She lives in Wesley Chapel with her husband, 2 sons and a daughter.
